Motion Detectors

Motion Detectors, also known as PIR’s ( Passive Infrared motion sensors) offer a high level of detection and false alarm prevention. They work by detecting infrared radiation (radiant heat) emitted by or reflected from objects. These being connected to your alarm system, will sound the alarm when it has been activated while your alarm system is set. Needs vary from person to person, house to house, business to business. We offer a range of motion detectors to suit your needs from a basic corner unit to 360 views. Whatever the application, there's a motion detector that will suit your needs and surpass your expectations. We even offer motion detectors to suit your little furry friend who likes to stay indoors. Knowing your family, home and/or business is protected, ensures your peace of mind.

Intercoms

An intercom (short for intercommunication) is a type of stand-alone communication tool. It can be used within a home, an apartment building, or a business building. It is a two-way device designed to transmit and receive communication from different locations. Typically they transfer sound, but with today’s technology, they have the capability of displaying video so you can see the person your talking to (or not want to talk to) on the other end. The benefits of adding an Intercom to your security system, is that the person/people on the inside can screen the people attending the property, especially with the video capabilities. It also allows the homeowner or business owner the ability to grant or deny access without having to physically open the door or gate. Pro Alarms have many years experience in designing, fabricating and fitting intercom systems to suit the clients needs. They are a great addition to any existing security system.

No more sneaking through windows and doors!

Glass Break

Glass break detector is a sensor which actively listens for the breaking, cracking or shattering of glass within your home or business. These sensors are commonly used near glass doors or glass storefront windows. If glass is broken, you'll be notified by a loud alarm and an alert will go to our monitoring company Onwatch if you have back to base monitoring. Glass break sensors add an extra line of protection between an intruder and your home or business.

Smoke & Thermal Detectors

As an addition to your alarm, smoke and thermal detectors give you an early warning of the presence of smoke or fire. We have had successful results saving homes and lives over the last 39 years. An advantage of being a monitored client is also knowing that if your smoke or thermal detectors go off when you are not at home, they are monitored 24/7, giving you piece of mind that your premises are being looked after.
